AN INDEPENDENT'S VIEW OF AMERICA


The greatest challenge to our nation is not the Iraq War or Jihadist Terrorism. It is not four dollar gasoline or flooding along the Mississippi. It is the corrosive effect of factions on our national unity.
The two major political factions vying for supremacy in our nation's capitol ---- Democrats and Republicans ---- have lost sight of their responsibility to serve the American public.
It is vital to our national interests ---- economic, cultural, spiritual, moral ---- to diffuse the influence of the two major factions by replacing incumbents with Independent representatives. The American public is best served when legislative questions are resolved through honest debate. Battles between two political Titans obscure the public interests in the smoke and clamor of combat.
America has chosen the path of an international market place and is playing a leading role in the development of a global economy. We, as a nation, are now performing on a global stage to press forward the frontiers of a worldwide trading system. That effort requires our nation to act in a manner that exemplifies that the States of America are United.
